Warblers and Waterfowl along the Minnesota River
Date/Time
Sat, May 6 , 2017
7:30 am - 11:00 am
Location
Old Cedar Avenue Bridge
Old Cedar Ave S,
Bloomington, MN 55425
One of the very best birding locales in the state; and so close to St. Paul! We will walk east from the Old Cedar Avenue Bridge and return. Along this portion of the Central Flyway we will watch for migrating passerines. We will carefully check the Bass Ponds and Long Meadow Lake for long-legged waders and lingering waterfowl. Of note is the old bridge, which is on the US Register of Historic Places due to the type of original construction used.
