Rachel C Lilly Preserve
Mendota Heights, MN 55118
Part of the fall migration is in full swing and the September prairie can be spectacular.
In fact, the prairie at Rachel Lilly may be at a visual peak this month.
Visiting a special place repeatedly develops a familiarity of a place which in turn develops interest, love, and desire to care for it. Many of the observation styles transfer easily to you viewing of others of your special places. Included along the maintained trails are a well restored prairie, second growth woodland, brushy edges, and a good size pond.
The Rachel C Lilly Preserve is a portion of Dodge Nature Center that has been placed in Conservation Easement. It is located on MN Highway 110, between Dodd Road and Delaware Avenue in Mendota Heights.
