Don Arnosti

Don has 30 years of experience as a conservation advocate in Minnesota, defending our woods, wetlands, waters and wildlife.  He’s raised his outdoor-loving family on a steady diet of canoeing, hiking and adventuring in Minnesota, across our nation, and around the world.  His favorite maxim comes from Aldo Leopold, “The first rule of intelligent tinkering is to save all the parts.”

Description of presentation:

Don will describe how environmental advocates can most effectively work with the new legislative state and national majorities regarding our most pressing environmental challenges.  He will also discuss what the effect of the federal election on environmental protection in our state.  How can we impact needed actions to address such pressing environmental issues as Global Warming, clean water, and habitats for the birds and wildlife we all love?
