Warbler Weekend will take place this year, with the following Covid-19 precautionary modifications. Independent birding will be allowed in groups of 6 or fewer, with safety measures in place and without guides. The Hok-Si-La Park Dining Hall will be used to provide bird lists, maps, and return instructions, and all information will be set out on socially distanced tables.
Julian Sellers will present on The American Kestrel at the Saint Paul Audubon meeting on May 13th. I think SPAS members will find the presentation interesting and somewhat entertaining. In addition to information such as taxonomy, life habits, and population trends and threats, the presentation describes SPAS's nest box project and includes some fun videos.
