The highlight of the winter birding season is Saint Paul Auduon Society’s Annual Christmas Bird Count. This National Audubon Society event has been collecting data for 117 years and is the longest running bird census of its kind. This event provides valuable data on winter bird populations. Join us for this fun event!

How is it organized: People are assigned to teams containing both expert and beginning birders. Each team is assigned to a pre-determined area of St. Paul. Individual participation can be for part of the day or all day depending on your interest.
