Sunday, May 5, 7:30-11 AM

One of the very best birding locales in the state; and so close to St. Paul! We’ll check the area between Old Cedar Avenue and the Bass Ponds.  The Minnesota River flyway makes this a great spot for migrating passerines and waterfowl.

DIRECTIONS     Go south from I-494 on Cedar Avenue then Old Cedar Avenue which dead-ends in the parking lot for the Old Cedar Avenue bridge and Minnesota River Valley NWR trails complex. 44.830642, -93.244936

REGISTRATION     None

DIFFICULTY     Approximately 2 miles on gravel, dirt or paved trails and wooden boardwalk, with some small, gradual hills. Certain areas can be muddy. Benches available in some areas. Pit toilets available on site.
