June 20, Reservoir Woods – Roseville City Park, Larpenteur Ave., 55113
MEETS 7-9:30 AM
Summer birding is more relaxed and presents possibilities for observing behaviors different from
other times of year. Now they are briefly settled on family territories. Birders have opportunities
for lingering identifications and group observations at a summer-time relaxed pace. This slower
pace is also ideal for beginning birders to learn and experience the basics to locate, describe, and
identify birds.
DIRECTIONS Meet at the Roseville Woodview Off-Leash Dog Area, between Rice and Dale Streets on Larpenteur Ave. Park snuggly in the small parking lot or street park on Mackubin St. directly across Larpenteur from the dog area parking lot.
INSTRUCTIONS Bring water, insect repellant and field guide. Contact leader/s only if you need additional information.
REGISTRATION None
DIFFICULTY Easy. Generally level pathways both chipped and paved.
