Recent SPAS bylaws changes require its annual budget to be posted on the website for 30 days starting April 1. In the past the draft budget was distributed at a membership meeting and this new requirement allows many more people to see the budget than in the past.
This year budgeting is extra challending. As the year began, the SPAS board was just beginning several new projects and programs that are now on hold. SPAS has just completed the conversion of The Cardinal from paper to electronic distribution. And, of course, all our plans are contingent upon the course of the Covid-19 virus.
