Monthly Chapter Meeting
In Defense of Crows
Presented by Clay Christiansen, writer of the “Birdman of Lauderdale” column for the St. Anthony Park Bugle.
Crows often get a bad rap. As far back as the 15th century, the term “murder” was used to describe a flock of crows. This talk will cover the corvid family, their family life, the “dark side,” and other topics about these common but interesting and intelligent birds. Sprinkled throughout the talk, expect to hear a good deal of humor!
You can read the “Birdman of Lauderdale” columns by going to the Park Bugle website (http://www.parkbugle.org/) and then clicking the “Columns” link.
Everyone is invited to this free Saint Paul Audubon program on Thursday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fairview Community Center, 1910 West County Road B in Roseville, just west of Fairview Avenue.
