Lakes Groups Networking Picnic

St. Paul Auduboners are invited to the Lakes Groups Networking Picnic at the Lake Phalen Picnic Pavilion in St. Paul on Tuesday, August 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. The Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed district is organizing the event to give a boost to volunteer efforts to clean up Phalen, Frost, Wakefield, Beaver and Ames Lakes.

Folks from the Como Neighbor Network will demonstrate how they conduct their fall clean up, and Paddle Boarders will show how they pick up hard to reach trash. Invitees should bring their own dinners or a dish to share, the watershed district is providing watermelon, with water available at the Picnic Pavilion—bring your own water bottle.
