Waterfowl on Metro Lakes

Where are waterfowl and other migrants in the east metro.

Join Clay and Julian to explore several lakes looking for migrating loons, grebes, mergansers and ducks. We’ll form a car caravan at St. Paul Sears and drive from site to site. The final itinerary will depend on what lakes are open, perhaps all in Ramsey County, perhaps the Mississippi River, or Dakota County as well. Directions will be provided at Sears.

Bring water and snacks if you wish.

Bring a spotting scope if you can.

Registration: No registration required.

Difficulty: Easy, always near the cars.
