Issues Seminars
Bald eagle
This past year we have had three major meetings on compelling environmental topics, two on global warming, and the most recent on creating native plant gardens that nurture the web of life.
Our events are open to the public and are announced on this web site. St. Paul Audubon Society seminars are popular and fill quickly – there was standing room only at our April 2009 event with nationally-known entomologist and author Douglas Tallamy! Because of the overwhelming interest in the topic of native plant gardens we are currently establishing summer tours of native plant gardens and publishing a booklet devoted to native plants. Visit this site often for updates on our events and publications.
